ok. i have a 1993 ford escort.
i am going to copy and paste something from a convo i had with a friend about my car so i dont have to remember everything all over again......
i drove it from RJ's house to ours and no problem, no noises, gears fine, clutch fine...... uncle mike was testing wires with a light thingy to see if the sterio was working or not... i pulled out to go get cigs and it was crunching everytime i stepped on the clutch..... i pull it back into the drive way and turn it off.... when i got back in, before i put the key anywhere near the ignition--i had my foot on the clutch and it was trying to start itself.... starrienite1013: lol yes there is gas.... once i put the key in the ignition and started it (regardless the clutch wanting to start the car), i would get it started and the clutch would only grind... then i turned the car off for awhile....... when i turned it back on, it worked FINE!!! no noises and i backed it out of the driv-way and back in with no noises.....then i turned it off and the car acts like there is no power ever since.... it makes a slight click but nothing.. lights n all still work.. nothing wrong with the battery
can anyone help me out?
