Looks like its gonna be alot of fun
A mate of mine once had a clio and he was able to attach a k&n air filter direct onto the carb thus doing away with the filter housing and then he brought a cold air feed in from under the grill Have you still got the filter inside the filter housing?
Might be worth while just connecting your existing cone onto the carb to see how it goes and then if it all works ok think obout getting a small breather filter for the oil breather you can pick these up very cheaply on ebay.
Another option might be to get some rubber 3" hosing some jubilee clips and then look into building a supercharger I will try and get some pics posted but at the moment I only have the plans as a word doc email me if you want a copy

would be cool. my addy is * new_world_disorder_2004@hotmail.com * add me on msn if you want. getting the induction kit ( which replaces airbox ) made by pipercross and 2 air feeds ( that will go in the holes meant for fog lights on my new bumper ) and a new 4" either side exhaust kit. and some alloys asap. :)

just got quotes fro pro-speed, the local custom kit ppl. they are going to do my exhaust system next friday at 9am. haha for £271, with a sports cat and a 4.5" red canned box. mounted at an angle so u can see some box from behind. then on the 14th im getting a custom induction kit fitted for £383 w+ £180 for the bumper. also ordered some fox alloys today 15" with low profiles. and a lowering kit ( 45mm )
