 Post subject: 2 400w pioneer subs, 1500 watt amp, 2 6"x9"s
Post Posted: Tue Mar 29, 2005 12:42 am
Ive started getting all the stuff ive bought off the internet wired into my car! yay.
sounds pretty good at the moment so when i get some speakers in the front of the car it should be awsome :toothy8:
have built mdf boxes for two pioneer 12" 400 watt subs and covered them in carpet, they are a mad shape to fit right in my boot... I made them and then bought my amp which didnt fit, si i cut holes out of them, they are really strange now, but looks ace with them in and the amp stuck between them.
1500 watt ampo is fair mad also, wired up to a secondary battery that my mates gonna get fitted in the boot. will be good. what d'ya think?

Nooo! i cut the corners off and stuck bits of mdf in to make up the speakers. now the amp fits into these kind of grooves. really neat. I was kind of lucky cos i made the holes slightly too big, but thenb i carpeted, so now my amp fits exactly...

My subs are pioneer, the amp is APL or summat, got it off ebay along with the subs... I have to 6" sony door speakers and two 4" sony speakers for my dash too, havnt wired them in yet tho.

Why should my battery be vented or in a sealed box?
