Whats the law actually say about driving and using ur mobile or having a film going?
Can your passenger watch a film legally even if the driver could see the screen?

If the screen is veiwable from the drivers seat it is illegal for the screen to play when driving, most systems are linked up to the handbrake, so the screen goes of for saftey when driving, easily bypassed with a switch that just earths the handbrake, however means driving round with the caution light on. just keep ya eye out for the lil piggies, flick the switch when u see them. Always have a motto that, there is no rules as long as you dont get caught.

I see, you could drive around wearing blinders, like horses do. Then your passenger will be able to watch the screen legally!

Has anyone actually seen proof that, or know for a fact that these laws exist? I've heard all the hype too, but I can't believe people will shell out cash for a screen in the car thats inactive unless you're parked. I did a lot of research on PA motorist laws, but I can't find anything that actually says it is illegal to have a screen operative in view of the driver.
