Im somewhat of a newbie at this.
I got a Pioneer DEH-P4050 Head unit in my car and I just got some boxed 400 watt Pyle 6x9"s. (cheap yanko stuff). They ok; its a basic setup, but they keep cutting in and out and it pisses me off. Are they drawing too much power from the H.U?
(45x4 output). Dont think its shoddy wiring even though I have yet to solder it properly.

Try getting a capacitor. If it doesn't fix the problem, you will have a nicer sound when you do fix it.

Does it only cut out when you have the volume cranked up ?

If not then I would look to the wiring connections.
