I have the pioneer DEH-P960MP and I'm having a hard time setting up my audio settings to sound play clear. I also have have the pioneer 6x5 250 watts componets speakers and the pioneer 6x9 350watt speakers and they're also powered by a 1600 watt amp. I have the equpiment in place now it's just a matter of getting the settings right. I just don't understand these low and high pass filters, slopes , and curves. Can someone please help me in trying to get my audio setting right so that my system can sound right. If you're wondering right now the bass just sounds horrible and treble just isn't fine tune enough.

It may be that your amp is too strong for the continuous handling. If I were you I would change the back speakers so you can get more bass. For more vocal try getting power acoustik or leave the pioneer speakers. If you are making it for a racing car and you want as little weight as possible, Try getting a cheap roadmaster system. Its only about $20(US currency) and it is in boxes for like 2 or four speakers. PM me if this helps. I hope it does.

Oh wait I almost forgot to tell you about the back speakers brand. You should get something affordable like Sony or Dual. Hope this back speaker info helps you.
