I was planning on putting a pc in my car to have gps... I hate having a part silver car, its embarrasing!

like a laptop etc? im not sure about in the UK but here in australia prices are really started to drop on in car gear...

no, like a pc in the boot lol... would be ace, think of what it could do, the only thing that might really suck would be starting it up.

i wont to put a pc in my boot. people have done it before. best thing is to get a barbone or maybe a new mac mini. or just get a laptop.

I bought a pc mother board, laptop hard disk, laptop to IDE converter (off ebay) usb to IDE, an external DVD/cdrw, a gps reciever, cpu and I was going to screw it into the mdf box i have on the floor of my boot so it was hidden.

This might work for you only real problem would be the power supply it has to be shrunk to fit in the case and you can buy a 12v to 240v inverter to power it [/img]
