Hello,

I have a 1995 Volvo 940. I have an older set of BA Rally's and want to install the speakers myself. I believe the car has an amp already, but I want to bypass this and install a two channel amp to power my BA's.

I would like some help on how to wire the amp into the system, and from the amp to the speakers. The speakers come with crossovers. I use to have an Audison amp running the speakers, but sold it when I took out the system when it was in my other car. Pissed now that I sold it. I don't have much money to spend on an amp (meaning I can't get another Audison, pissed still that I sold it). I'm pretty confident that I can do this myself, I just need some direction/things to look out for/ things to do right (i.e. fuses and proper gauge wire to use)

run cable from the low output of your stereo to the amp, then from your amp to the crossovers then from there to your speakers. .. guess you know that... Then the more you spend on wire the better it is! If you go check a car audio shop they'll have wire to fit different bugets. Basically the thicker the wire, the lower the resistance and the better quality sound. You can also get oxygen free copper and things like that to improve the sound quality.
