I have a Grundig Cd changer and stereo, I want to change to JVC stereo but been told that it won't be compatible, want to check, is this true?

Yeah, I would think it would work for it. Does it have the red and white RCA cables like an amp?

No Red white on Jvc stereo.

I assume you mean on the changer? ( sorry if bit thick, I'm not very skilled on this) Will have to check in car ( not really sure how to do that either but will find a way!)

I was told by Halford car shop that it would not work but wanted second opinion as still nice to have changer.

If there is red white cable does that mean it will work? anything else that will stop it working? or could there be lots of things, as u can tell I know nothing about car audio
